My kinda tv

I look forward to Sundays. Not only is it coffee in bed day, but also Fremont Sunday Market. It's seriously my kinda TV.
You never know what you are going to see from beyond those feathers in the Gypsy Tent.
You must join in on the journey one day and look past the feathers...

bymisha {dreams}

bymisha..

Misha has been a name that I have artistically worked under for the past five years. She is undescribable.mysterious.unknown.clever&drivenbyart.
She is my character.

I have been intrigued with dreamcatchers ever since I can remember. The web, perfect beautiful art within a circle and feathers, every flowerchild's toy. A dreamcatcher represents so much besides being a piece of wall art. It filters your dreams while being of simple design, each component put together is a beautiful piece of purposeful art.
>>> flowing fabric.movement of energy <<<
[circle] the sun, moon, month- travel each day across the sky
[feathers] breath, or air, it is essential for life
[web] the spider repairing the eternal web of life....weaving your life dreams and energy in the universe when you dream

Shown: Blush Collection for Valentines Day.

Made from fabric remnants, gold dipped feathers, vintage doilies & peach quartz.

Taking on the New Year

Happy New Year Babes!
It's been one hell of a year and can't believe 2014 is already in the dust. Looking back on the year, one of the biggest things that happened was moving my life and business to Washington State. That brought on my new firsts for this Hawaiian girl and do anticipate many more to come.
One thing for sure, I am finally feeling grounded here in the PNW and ready to take on what 2015 brings me.
xx

I spy a snowflake icon

Living in the PNW you rely on your handy weather app to figure out how to dress for the day. Much to my surprise a snowflake icon was showing in the weekly report. As the days went by, the icon remained and my hope of seeing my first snowfall in the PNW was getting closer and closer. Sure enough, first thing on the snowflake icon day before I could even get the Keurig started I heard the most epic word...SNOW!!!

On Wednesdays we wear Grandmas Vintage Fur.

Fashion faux pas or not, bringing my Grandmas vintage fur out for a spin is always a treat for me. Not only do I have a nostalgic feeling of the past and a connection to her, I feel like a vixen ready to pounce.  I adore mixing old and new that aren't obviously supposed to be together.
Welcome to my fashion jungle..

xx
