Behind the Scenes - Ramble On

A little BTS of Ramble On...A collaborative shoot with Mandee Rae.

Mandee and I were messaging randomly one day, and I sent her a pic from a moodboard on my mind. She totally dug it and we had our shoot set up at my place. Literally two days before the shoot our model had a "My Boyfriend Story..." and knew instantly we needed a new model. Mandee pulled her rockin' social media skills out and had Akira and Lily booked within 30 minutes. That's pretty much how it goes with Mandee...she posts a model call and girls leap!

My furry baby Miss Katie wanted to be in all of the shots, so we gave her a bit of camera time. Wait until you see the whole series Mandee photographed...it's pretty bad ass.

My dirty little secret

I have noticed hats have been my go-to for "I don't want to deal with my hair kinda day" Normally my plan is easy, I just don't brush it, but when you add no brushing and no washing, that calls for the hat backup plan. In Hawaii,  its usually the trucker hat in bright colors and words of Aloha. But in the PNW, it's the western, the fedora, the beanie, the panama, the western, the matador and shall I go on?.. So you see my dilemma of not washing and not brushing, I have too many cute options to wear, so I might as well stay dirty.

Came and Conquered

The Gypsy Tent finally made it to the Puyallup Farmers Market and we were so happy to meet some bitchin' new babes. It ended up being a great first market and have officially signed up for the Season. If you haven't popped by this market yet, you totally should. Seriously the best produce selections from local farmers, our favorite organic soap products, gorgeous fresh cut flowers, local honey, potted plants and yummy food selections. You will not walk away with empty hands or without a warm delicious cinnamon roll.
Come check us out on Saturdays from 9am -2pm.... look for our Feathers & Dreams.

From where I stand

Gypsy Tent living is not for everyone, but it certainly fits the bill for me. The freedom of setting up shop and sharing this nomadic lifestyle with you is what brings a smile to my face. Come and set yourself free and follow the flowing feathers and prints of wanderlust and you have made it to the doorway.
