Black and White.

Black and White. Opposites but so perfect together.
The Santiago Playsuit is one of my favorite pieces from our new arrivals to the Gypsy Tent. Its simple, but yet modern and elegant. Pull it on and go..thats the way I like it.

Kimonos Are Everything

A kimono is a go-to when it comes to easy no fuss dressing. I don't know about you, but sometimes on date night I overthink what to wear that it becomes more of a chore rather than something super fun. Friday is always our night and on this particular night I was feeling super unmotivated to figure out what to wear. I belted a tunic (which I was wearing with shorts earlier) booties, a leather wrapped-up necklace with a Kimono and....DONE.
Date Night, here I come..

Behind the scenes - The Six Gypsies

I have been following Mandee Rae on IG for a while now and decided to reach out to her to see if she would be interested in doing a collaborative shoot. Much to my surprise, she was already planning on contacting me to see if I would like to style her upcoming senior project. From there, the count down began of meeting up, making flower crowns, gathering merchandise and making dreamcatchers. With two boxes on the way from Amy Grace Jewelry and  Ginger & Koi the styling was ready to go.

Check out the full series and stay tuned for more amaziness we have planned with Mandee Rae..

Layer Cake

After doing Markets for the past year in the PNW I have come to realize the trickery behind cool weather dressing. Yes, its super easy to throw on a coat, sweater, jeans and and call it for the day.....but I refuse to give up my breezy prints, graphic tees and skirts all because of a little chilly weather.

68 degrees really isn't that cold, but add some breeze and shade and that calls for a cold day in the Gypsy Tent. As every girl loves layer cake, we love to layer as well. Beneath my printed maxi skirt I am wearing tights, two pairs of socks and my heavy cowboy boots. I have a bit of winter hidden.

When the BF runs the show

The BF is always with me on Market Days, but this particular day my daughter had a dance performance and that was my top priority. I had opted to not do the market, but Nate assured me he would do the market and would be just fine.  I reluctantly agreed, and made sure every item was properly priced, showed him the credit card swiper and left him to do the hustling for the day.

Well.....he totally kicked my ass. My top sales, hustling skills, styling tricks ---- he knows them all. He hasn't just been sitting in the sidelines this past year just drinking bloody marys and watching me, he totally has been learning. From what the other vendors told me, he was cat-walking, flirting, holding clothes up to himself and working his thing. Dangit, this is when you wished you had a shop cam to see whats up.

He did have an upper hand on things though...hot guy with a beard and tattoos in the Gypsy Tent?...girls are totally game for that. BUT, needless to say he killed it in the tent and did a fantastic job. Now the issue is, who works what shift?
